When you grow up, you want to be Ralph Gilles. As Senior Vice President of Product Design for FCA US LLC, Ralph gets the final say on the look and feel of the newest Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler and Ram vehicles. You want to talk trendsetters? Critics and analysts hail Ralph for revitalizing the full-sized American sedan as the father of the Chrysler 300. He also drove the effort to create the newest generation of the Dodge Viper. So it’s no surprise that Ralph likes to spend his time away from the office honing his driving skills at race tracks, mixing it up in go-karts and watching Formula One races. But you won’t find Ralph hidden behind an entourage. Fans of FCA US products aren’t shy about offering their opinions on social media and Ralph engages in the discussion. Students who spend time with Ralph gain exclusive insight into his passion for cars, art and the leadership it takes to thrive in a fiercely competitive global market.

For the second consecutive year, T2S 5G, our elementary school program, partners with the Aquarium of the Pacific to introduce marine ecosystems to nearly 100 fifth-grade students at Delores Moye Elementary School. Using live-teleconference technology, students are able to ask Aquarium marine biologists everything about the deep blue sea! What’s inside a coral reef? What does the inside of a sting ray mouth look like? Is an eel a fish or really something else? And how sharp are shark teeth? There’s nothing like the ocean at sunrise; and that is exactly what students get to see…as the Aquarium’s live cameras check in on colorful sea plants and animals wake up to a new day; along with the mighty creatures inhibiting the mysterious world of Shark Lagoon! The three 45 minute sessions are led by T2S’ A. Doss with the assistance of our Junior Executives and T2S student volunteers.

Yes, Lionel Frederick “Freddy” Cole is the younger brother of music giant Nat "King" Cole and uncle of performer Natalie Cole. But Freddy Cole does let family relationships define him. A Chicagoan, Freddy's path to mastering jazz began only a few short years into his life. He started playing piano before age six and never looked back. Freddy formally studied music at The Julliard School before earning a Master’s Degree from the New England Conservatory School. For decades, Freddy received incredible recognition from foreign jazz lovers, before Americans finally demonstrated a lasting appreciation for his talent. A Grammy nominated artist, Cole and his Quartet continue to tour the United States, entertaining audiences with their distinct interpretation of straight-ahead standards from the great American songbook. T2S graciously thanks our partners at Jazz STL and the Emerson Jazz in the Schools program for their support of the fine arts.
