Mr. Doss is a Regional Operations Manager at a Chicago-based, consulting firm, which has focused to providing management consulting and outsourced project management services to companies ranging from start-up entities to top-tier corporations. He has over nineteen years of experience in consulting, operations, and project management. In his role, Mr. Doss is responsible for the firm’s St. Louis business operation. He and his team have tailored core project management practices to the dynamic R&D environment and successfully applied these practices to manage complex strategic, business optimization, operations optimization, and product development projects at all stages involving multiple parties collaborating in research, technology, and development; regulatory approvals and compliance; product manufacturing; and trials. Additionally, Mr. Doss has led facility construction and process improvement efforts resulting in compressed cycle times and efficient resource utilization across interdependent functional organizations.
Alvin L. Doss, Jr., is a native of East St. Louis, IL. Due to opportunities within his company, Alvin was able to return to the area five years ago.
Mark began his financial services career in 1995 as a retail banking center Branch Manager in Washington, DC before advancing into brokerage as a Financial Advisor with American Express. He then stepped away from finance to work in non-profit small business development. Afterwards, he returned to brokerage and joined then Richmond, Virginia based Wachovia Securities in 2004. He was initially responsible for consolidating legacy Prudential and Wachovia Securities branch offices. Mark stayed on with the firm after its acquisition by Wells Fargo & Co. He currently manages Wells Fargo Advisors contracts, agreements and disclosure revision projects for the firm’s multi-sales channel national footprint. Mark also leads the on-going Business Process Management System effort.
Mark now lives in Southern Illinois with his loving wife Bernadette and teenage son. His personal pursuits are writing works of fiction, and expanding his model railroad and aircraft collection.

His proven bridge leadership skills allow him to recruit diverse professionals, corporations and community service institutions from across the country in support of school based advancement activities. Mark’s unique vision ensures that all T2S relationships inspire students to explore an array of career and leadership opportunities while sustaining the mission of our partners for measurable results.
After seven years of teaching, Laurie started a family, and now, she and Dr. Wood have three beautiful daughters. Now that the children have grown, Laurie has answered the calling to pursue her dreams once again. She is an Illinois State Developmental Therapist for Early Intervention. She not only works with children through the State of Illinois, she works with their families to help prepare them for entry into public and private school settings. Laurie works with families and support organizations throughout the State of Illinois to improve the lives of children and families.
Dr. Wood currently lives in Illinois with his loving wife Laurie and their three daughters. His personal life passions are spending time with his family, physical fitness and travel. In addition he loves to read and collect antiques.
As an instructional leader, Dr. Wood has developed and co-developed such programs as A.C.E.S. (Academic Coaching for Educational Success) and T2S (Ticket 2 Success). Both program focus on leadership, literacy, character development and academic success. These programs have produced significant results in the continued development of the student, learner and confident citizen.
Laurie Ann Wood was born and raised in Illinois. She entered the Illinois State University teaching program for the sole purpose of becoming an educator. Laurie graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary education. Her father was a teacher, as well as many other family members. Teaching young children was in her blood so to speak.
Dr. Douglas A. Wood is a Los Angeles, California native and has lived in Illinois since arriving to the Midwest on a football scholarship to Illinois State University. He has had tremendous success as both a scholastic athlete and Junior Olympic weight lifter prior to his success as an educational leader.
Mark A. Lee, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has lived and traveled throughout most of the East Coast before settling in Southwestern Illinois.
Alvin now resides in O’Fallon, Il., with his wife, Stephanie, and their three sons.
Prior to joining IPM, Mr. Doss was a Captain in the United States Air Force where he gained experience managing multifaceted IT and telecommunication projects; supervised and led cross-functional, diverse teams; and managed one of the few P&L centers within the military.
Mr. Doss is a graduate of Morehouse College and Georgia Institute of Technology with degrees in General Science and Electrical Engineering respectively and is also a recipient of an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis – Olin Business School. Additionally, he also is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with the American Society of Quality.
A strong advocate of developing the strengths of young people, Mr. Doss served for two years as a mentor to elementary school aged students through Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.'s "Go to High School, Go to College" program in Atlanta, Ga. He served for two years as a baseball umpire for Air Force sponsored Little League where he interacted with kids; assisted with teaching them the game of baseball, and shared his life insights as appropriate. For four years, Mr. Doss served as T-ball and baseball coach for kids ranging in ages from five to ten. He has volunteered as a parent chaperone for the annual O’Fallon IL, based Amelia V. Carriel Junior High School 8th Grade trip to Washington D.C. where he assisted school administration with monitoring and guiding approximately 180 8th graders…and Mr. Doss also spoke at Lincoln Middle School in East St. Louis, Il., to expose them to several career choice options.
She is Founder and CEO of All Commerce, LLC a parent company of three independent, yet integrated divisions tailored to the growth of large and small businesses. Comprised of e-Commerce, Information Systems Technology Consulting and Government Contracting, the divisions form a cohesive structure capable of exceeding client’s goals from the individual and corporate perspective. Being a small business owner, her entrepreneurial background is a great asset when motivating youth to be opened-minded and self-driven with regards to their education and leadership decisions.
Bernadette has a 20 -year career in Information Technology ("IT") Consultant with a successful track record with Fortune 500 companies and the private sector which encompasses pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, corporate retail, financial securities, and aerospace firm The Boeing Company. Prior to IT, she had a successful eight-year career as a retail banking Assistant Vice President.
Laurie began her teaching career as a second grade elementary teacher, and has taught grade levels kindergarten through fourth grades. Laurie soon became recognized and respected for her talents in the classroom. Due to her hard work and relentless pursuit to make a difference in all of her students’ lives, she was honored as being selected Teacher of the Year in her short tenure. Laurie soon began to speak and present at parenting workshops. Her passion to better the lives of others goes far beyond the classroom.
Dr. Wood has devoted his life to education. The programs that he has lead have the distinction of academic excellence, regional and state award recognition, and establishing a culture that develops the mind, body and spirit of all learners. Dr. Wood has received such distinctions as the Southwest Region Illinois Principal’s Association Principal of the year for 2012-2013, Illinois State Do The Right Thing School of the Year 2011-2012, and is sought after by school communities as a motivational speaker and presenter. In addition to his role as an administrator, Dr. Wood serves on the Executive Board for Illinois ASCD as Treasurer.
Professionally, Dr. Wood began his professional education career in 1989 when he started teaching Middle School in Frankfort, Illinois. During this time, he began working on his Master’s Degree in Education Administration. Soon after receiving his Master’s Degree, Dr. Wood entered the field of school administration. He has since served as an Assistant Principal, Principal and is now Ball Chatham CUSD Superintendent. In addition, Dr. Wood has received his Doctoral Degree in Leadership Foundations and Counseling Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago with honors.
In addition to T2S, Mark serves on the Southwestern Illinois College - Foundation, Board of Directors. The Foundation exists to maintain and enhance the quality of life by developing friends and funds for support of the educational, cultural and service goals of the Southwestern Illinois College ("SWIC"). The SWIC Foundation promotes excellence by securing gifts for special educational and cultural activities that are not part of the college budget.
Born and raised on the East Coast, Bernadette now resides in Southern IL with her husband Mark and teenage son.
Bernadette holds dual degrees, graduating Cum Laude in Information Systems Technology with minors in Computer Programming and Database Management from Kaplan University.
